Email Opt In List - Is It Really The Blood Of Your Business
Throughout my internet marketing ventures, I have made many mistakes. A lot of people won't admit that right off the bat, but I will. Some of the things I did were boneheaded mistakes that costs me a lot of money such as failing to build an email opt in list. Have you ever the term, the money is in your list? If you have been on the net for even a short amount of time I am sure you have.
I decided to not take that advice and not take it literally. Here is the big problem with that. Every person who may be interested in what you are offering can reach you through your website, but you can't reach them. Simply because you don't know who they are!
For example, I used to give away free downloads of an ebook, but never enticed them to give me their name and email. All I asked them for was to click the download link. If you want to succeed in internet marketing, don't make the same boneheaded mistake I did.
Here's why. Your list can be marketed to over and over again. I am not talking about continuously giving them offers to products, because that is not the way to do it. You must first build a relationship with them and tell them more about themselves.
Not everyone wants to buy from someone on the internet. But if you can properly build a relationship between the two of you, you have a much better shot at the sale.
If you are not building an email opt in list you are making a huge mistake just as I did at first. It is a list of all your potential customers or business clients.
