Emergency Medicine Physicians Gains National Recognition With Best Places To Work In Healthcare
Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP) of Canton, Ohio, has been named one of Modern Healthcare Magazine’s "Best Places to Work" in healthcare. This distinction recognizes workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and services. Compiling the annual lists of nominees and determining the final honorees is managed each year through a partnership between Modern Healthcare Magazine and Best Companies Group, a firm that conducts regional "best places to work" programs across the country. On behalf of Modern Healthcare, the Best Companies Group determined the honorees by conducting two surveys of healthcare companies and other organizations that volunteered to participate. The first survey was a questionnaire for participating employers, while the second was a satisfaction survey of participating companies’ employees. The questions focused on eight core areas to determine the final honorees: leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits and overall satisfaction.
