Engagement Words

So you have finally have gotten engaged! Are you throwing an engagement party to announce it? If you are, then you will need to send out invitations to get people to come.

You can go with formal wording or casual wording it is up to you. You can set the tone to fit the couple. We will look at some ways to word these party invitations to make them unique.

He asked, “If she would
be his brand new wife”.
She said “She sure could
be his wife for life.”
So come eat some food
with the soon man and wife.

Mary and Bob's
special day is near,
So let’s come together
and have a beer!

Stars in her eyes,
over the proposal.
They are to have ties,
said yes to proposal.
Come cheer the couple!

Mary and John are engaged!
This couple will be a winner,
so join them for dinner.
(Date, time, and location).

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Smith
wish to invite you to a dinner to announce,
the engagement of their daughter,
Mary Smith to John Conner
on (Date, time, and location).
RSVP (by what date and who to call).

For Mary and John the time is near,
they will soon marry with no fear.
So come help us to bring on the cheer,
there will be lots of food and plenty of beer.
(Date, time, and location).

He said, “Will you?”
She said, “Okay!”
So now we want to,
have you say “Yea!”
Come join us on (Date, time, and location).

Come join in the party,
for John and Mary.
And please don't be tardy,
they are soon to marry.
(Date, time, and location).

Tom Jones
request your presence at an engagement party.
(Date, time, and location.)
RSVP (by what date and who to call).

You are cordially invited to a special get together,
to formally announce the engagement of two fine people.
Mary Smith and Tom Jones
This will be a sit down dinner to be held on:
(Date) at (Time) at (Location)
RSVP (by a date and the person to call and phone number).

There are endless ways you can use these. You can probably think of some original ones that you can write on your own. Your guests will love getting an original invitation to your party. But if you can't think of one of your own, maybe one of the ones listed here will do just fine.
