A healthy body and a healthy mind make up a healthy lifestyle. The weight loss program that we choose has to be personalised, balanced, goal oriented and attainable rather than have deadlines that will ultimately prove to be unhealthy to the body. All of us aim at achieving fitness through burning body fat and having a healthy lifestyle.


Its not easy getting in shape and staying like that for long. Losing body fat and not just weight is what is important so that one is able to maintain a healthy lifestyle for long. There are some small but significant changes that one can make in their lives and attain good results like –

• Staying away from smoking as it starves the body of oxygen and also excess alcohol
• Including fruits, vegetables, grains and cereals like soya, oatmeal, olive, flaxseed etc in the food. This helps in attaining optimal fitness levels
• Regular exercise to burn body fat and other physical activity to break the sedentary lifestyle of today
• Keeping a food diary and noting the calorie intake everyday and then planning diet
• Follow a weight lose program after consulting a dietician for best results
• Increasing the water intake so that body is hydrated and feels full
• Control over junk food eating habits
• Think positive and follow whatever plans you make strictly so that you don’t feel guilty
• Prevent overeating at meal times; instead eat small portions at small intervals.

Presently, our lifestyles are very stressful and fast paced, and we are rushing to meet deadlines, so to have a healthy lifestyle is all the more important and difficult. So eating healthy and regular exercise to burn body fat can go a long way in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It is often said that ‘we are what we eat’ so it’s important to have a weight loss program that suits our individual body and is achievable and goal oriented as well.
