My own experiences show that it's extremely convenient to fly from England to France. In fact, it works out both cheaper and quicker to fly rather than drive.
A key advantage for me is that I live close to a local airport, ensuring that I don't have to make use of one of the big London airports. If you've never thought to fly from a regional airport then it may well be worth checking out the flights that are on offer. You could soon be enjoying a cheaper, local holiday.
