Environmental Awareness Movement Inspires Green Mba Courses

As more company look to make their operations new sustainable, the number of MBA careers that require environmental knowledge is rising. As a result, many business schools are start to incorporate green subjects into their masters-level curricula.

For example, officials from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University just announced the availability of new sustainable business programs, the Phoenix Business diary reports.

Administrators told the news outlet that the new classes are intended to help students increase a wider understanding of business details. In adding to environmentally inattentive classes, the college has improved its offering in the marketing, provide chain management, finance and international studies fields through its online programs.

The business school has also complete its financial aid programs to students who are enrolling in evening or online courses.

These initiatives are intended to "attract the best likely students and help them request to future employers through business information, skill and world-class leadership," Robert Mittelstaedt, dean of the college, told the media channel.

Similar courses of learn could lead students into jobs in the environmental consulting services industry, which is one of the main specialties in the scientific and technical consulting field today, according to the department of Labor Statistics.
