Exercise The Right Way For Effective Results
Way to Get Started Warming up is very important before you start your actual exercise session. Your muscles will not be very supple and if you start with intense exercise routines right away, you will end up with injuries. During the warm up period, you should slowly stretch your muscles first, and then gradually increase your level of activity. Warming up the muscles increases the temperature of the muscles making them supple and pliable. Warm up sessions are essential to make your workout yield effective results. Exercise The Right Way Holding your body in the proper position while exercising is as important as the workout itself. Whatever the move is, try to keep your face relaxed and count out loud. It is common to find people holding their breath while exercising. Counting out loud helps you to breathe continuously during your workout session. If you are practicing shoulder exercises, make sure that you can see your hands. Take the talk test once in a while during your workout session. If you are able to converse comfortably, then you are exercising at an acceptable intensity. If you are breathless and not able to speak, it is advisable to slow down or take a short break. Incorrect Practice If you exercise, but not in the right way, it will do more harm than good. Incorrect practice may be counterproductive to your fitness goals or may even cause injuries. If you are a beginner, exercising frequently or working out rigorously is not advisable. Over-exercising will not help you to attain your fitness goals faster; instead it will deprive you of your energy. Incorrect breathing during workout will lead to lack of oxygen and may even cause dizziness. Lifting weights that are too heavy for you will lead to injuries. It is important to enjoy your exercise session but shifting your focus from exercising will not produce the desired results. Right Way to Close Your Exercise Session The right way to close your exercise session is to do a few cool down stretches after your workout. The cool down process is as important as the warm up process. It helps you to return your body to the pre workout level. Doing cool down stretches helps in preventing blood pooling and removing waste products built up within your body during exercise sessions. Cool down sessions help you to repair and replenish your body, after a heavy workout. Aspects such as warming up, cooling down and holding yourself in a proper position during workout sessions are as important as exercising itself. Proper workouts help you to get effective results. It is not enough to just exercise but it is very important to exercise the right way to achieve your fitness goal.
