What's the difference between the types of printers?

MONO Printers are purely black and white printing on a large scale. They are for plans, technical drawings and maps that require no colour.

CAD/GIS is for small amounts of colour typically plans and posters.

AQUEOUS printers are for indoor printing that requires a better colour gamut and more of a production environment. They can handle photos and posters to plans. They are water based and will run if they get wet. This means that for any outdoor application they will need lamination but the ink tends to fade in directly sunlight after 3months (printer dependent).

SOLVENT printers can do everything that aqueous can do although they can be used for outdoor signage as the ink is stable against UV rays and water. This is largely depedent on the type of media that you use. I.e Canvas wouldn't be good enough to use outdoors as it would become soggy!

Which type of printer is right for me?

Assess your main usage or work that you outsource the most. Would it be more effective to bring in-house? Just because you print 10 black and white plans doesn't mean you need a mono printer when all the other types are good enough at this volume.

How do you keep the prices so low?

Can I see my chosen printer in action?

Yes! We welcome demo's and have various sites over the UK in which to give demos. Our main sites are: Reading, Nottingham, Slough, Birmingham but this depends on the product as to where we can demo.

Do you offer an after sales service?

Absolutely. We don't just shy away when the sale is complete, we want you to use us again and again. If you're having difficulties or need advice we will be more than happy to help and advise as to which media works or which banner stand is best for a certain application.
