Fhtm Leads – The Reason Why 99% Of Fhtm Reps Are Failing

FHTM (A.K.A. Fortune Hi Tech Marketing) is a network marketing company that was started in 2001 by a gentleman named Paul Oberson. This company is extremely diversified being involved in many different industries such as travel, technology, internet, telecommunications, health & wellness, etc.

While the company itself is very solid and well managed, I have some MAJOR concerns about the training that representatives are receiving and why so many of them are not having as much success as they could be within FHTM.

Granted there are many factors that could play in to someone not having success with this business, I feel the biggest reason why representatives fail in FHTM is due to the training that is being provided.
At current, FHTM is instructing their representatives to go out, make a list of friends and family, and try to convince these people to join their business opportunity.

Let’s evaluate this strategy for a quick second and think about what is actually being done here...

FHTM is actually instructing you to be a pushy salesman and try to convince these people that your business opportunity is right for them. You might be thinking, “Wait a second...they told me I’d be ‘sharing’ my opportunity not selling it...” Think about it, in order for you to make money in this business, there has to be a transaction between buyer and seller. No one makes any money until something is sold.

Let me ask you another question. Did any of these people on your friends and family list contact you to get more information about your business opportunity? I’m willing to bet that none of them have and none of them will in the near future either. Being that many people on your friends and family list have absolutely no interest in your business opportunity, why are you evening wasting any of your time trying to convince them that your opportunity is right for them?

I think you are beginning to see that this methodology is starting to become a little outdated in today’s marketplace and that trying to convince people that do not care is a waste of time.

You may be asking yourself, “Well if I don’t talk to my friends and family who else can I talk to?”
Let me ask you one more question. Wouldn’t it make a lot more sense to show your business to people that are actually interested in learning more about it and are ready to join?
