Ftce Test Preparation Management For Those On The Go!
In fact, we’re all really busy people. Between our jobs, school and classroom experiences, I think it’s a fair bet to say that most people hoping to get their Florida teacher certification haven’t a clue how to find the time for it! As a previous FTCE test taker, I know how it feels. You’re confused. Worried. Wondering how you’ll ever find the time to crack open that FTCE test study guide. And when you do, you’ll anxious that it’ll take you months to learn what you need to know in weeks. If this sounds familiar, then get comfortable – because I’m about to show you how I managed to beat the time-crunch blues. I Broke Up My FTCE Test Prep That’s right – I took one look at my FTCE study guide and broke it up. But I didn’t do it because I was angry: I did it because I knew that breaking my FTCE test prep was the best way to get in as much test practice as possible. After all, who’s got time for those three-hour study marathons anymore? Definitely not me! Here’s what I did: I took a section from my FTCE test preparation and divided it into five or six parts of three pages. Over the course of a week, I would only study from those select pages. And I’d read them over once in the morning. Then on my lunch break. And then after dinner. And I’d repeat this process all week. You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll remember thanks to this incredibly simple process! I Avoided Multi-Tasking My FTCE Test Preparation Multi-tasking should be known as “multi-failing”, in my opinion. Studies have shown that it takes us approximately ten to twenty minutes to refocus on a task after being interrupted. That means just a simple phone call from a friend or a new email can cost you precious time on your FTCE test preparation! Do what I did and save yourself some aggravation: • Avoid any and all television, radio and email while you’re studying your “FTCE test study guide”. However, if you want to listen to classical music, that’s fine; studies have shown that we retain information better when listening to Baroque and company. • Let your family know that you can’t be interrupted during your review time. That way, when you settle in for a nice review session, you won’t have to deal with constant interruptions from your children or partner, • Under no circumstances should you be tempted to do household errands while you’re studying to pass the FTCE test. Part of effective time management is working smarter, not harder. And if you cut into your valuable study time with errands, you’ll only be doing yourself a disservice!
