Facebook Fan Page Scores Traffic
When advertising on Facebook, it's important to keep in mind that it's a social network. Most people who spend hours of their time on Facebook would be offended with the typical, in-your-face, advertising from yesteryear. That's why advertisers had to find ways to engage Facebook members without making them feel as though they were looking at advertisements. Everyone likes to be a part of something. Being creative and setting up ways for the consumer to be interactive works best for social networks. In fact, the profit margin continues to sky-rocket because the consumer doesn't realize that he's on the receiving end of a sales pitch. Setting up ads isn't the only way to use the power of Facebook. If you want to increase visibility and brand your company or yourself, it's highly recommended that you create a Facebook Fan Page. This is fairly easy to accomplish. You can buy one or create it yourself. You'll find many offers on the web to design a Facebook Fan Page for your business. Some fees are reasonable, while others are ridiculously high. There's also training available for those who prefer to make their own fan page. Jo Barnes put together excellent training modules for this called "Free Fan Page Template." Included with her package are a few free templates, as well. A lesson can be learned from Jo Barnes. She thrives on helping people succeed and shares lots of information for which others would charge. On the other hand, Jo makes no secret about the fact that a side benefit to helping others, is earning credibility and increasing profits. I admire Jo for telling us that she had created some products and would be selling them periodically. One such product is "2000 Fans in 27 Days" training videos. I'm happy to say that I purchased "2000 Fans in 27 Days" and it definitely exceeded my expectations. If you're a business owner who wants to build a presence on Facebook, start by increasing your friends and fans. Establish relationships by chatting about every day events instead of trying to hawk your wares. Update your Facebook Profile, join groups, and personalize your Facebook Fan Page.
