Fast Wealth Creation. How Serious Are You About Getting Wealthy Fast
Serious stuff is this creation of fast wealth. So much so that pursuit of it has consumed many of what would otherwise have been happy, healthy individuals. Fast wealth, as such, is a comparative term and only really gets taken seriously when it is seriously fast.
That being said, allow me to qualify this statement. First define what is meant by the term wealthy --- for you. Is it $10,000, $100,000 or a million. Would being wealthy mean you never had to work to earn your living, ever again, in your entire life. Or are you only able to see into the next 5 years.
You see this is what a comparative term is. When the term which is being used ,accurately reflects the circumstances in which the reader finds themselves, but then can also be applied to different circumstances then it is truly comparative.
This is because, as applied to another situation, the term will take on a whole new meaning. For example, when I am five years of age $10,000 seems like a whole world of wealth. But, when I am 40 years old, and earning $50,000 a year, then a million dollars is needed before I even start feeling wealthy.
So, in regard to fast wealth creation, I endeavor to encourage the reader to maintain a realistic perspective and not get carried away by hype. I enlist the following scenario. Everyone wants to be a millionaire. How long will that take you might ask? My reply is 5 years. And I can almost hear the groan. Five years (exclamation mark!). But you want it now!
O.K. I suspect that, at some stage of our lives, we have all felt this pang of desire for instant gratification. But the reality is as follows. If it took me 5 years of continuous, hard labor, to get my hands on one million dollars, effectively, I would have been on $200,000 per year. Are you on more than that at the moment. If so why are you reading this article, instead of being out there enjoying what your money can buy you.
If you are not on $200,000 a year, exactly what are you prepared to sacrifice in order to get it? Is that amount going to be enough to complete your picture of being wealthy? This is where we come back to the title of this article. Fast wealth creation – what do you consider as fast? For me, one million in five years would be very fast. Once again, a comparative term is the word fast. Compared to Bill Gates, my one million dollar gain over five years is probably a snails pace, but compared to the people of Zimbabwe, some of whom starve to death, one million dollars in an entire life time would not even be dreamable.
So, just how serious are you about fast wealth creation? There are ways and means of generating wealth fast but one has to be serious about it. One must be prepared to take the resources one finds at their fingertips, run with those, and do whatever is required in order to monetize the resources and get wealthy.
And remember, it is the man who does nothing that gets nothing, but if you consistently apply action you will always get a result. It may be fast or slow, but the trick is to make sure that what ever you are doing contributes, in some way, to the creation of wealth, as opposed to detracting from it. If you always do this it will only be a matter of time before you get rich.
