Finding Items To Sell On Ebay At A Profit
Besides the stuff that is lying around the house and the garage, many eBay sellers hit yard sales and thrift stores to find items to sell. Generally they are looking for things that are cheap or marked way below their actual value. Thrift stores can be a great place to find brand new clothing with the tags still on. Let's say you're an eBay seller that finds a brand name shirt at a thrift store. The manufacturer's tag says it is worth $30, but the thrift store is selling it for $3. When you add on listing fees of a couple dollars, then you've spent about $5. Perhaps you could sell that same shirt on eBay for $20. In the end, you've made a $15 profit, and your buyer has saved $10 from the marked price. To get into this habit takes some time. You'll need to learn how to tell what will sell and what won't. You learn how to do this by doing your research, and then researching even more. After you do enough research, you'll have a huge list of possible products that you can sell. When you go to yard sales or thrift stores, you'll know at a glance whether or not a product will be good to sell on eBay. You've noticed that purchasing product to sell on eBay isn't free. It can cost a bit of money to get started, just as it would be with any business. However, the investment is worth it.
