Finding Your Passion

Getting in touch with your passion is a fundamental part of establishing your personal power and relating to the world around you. It is valuable in healing your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual selves. Finding your passion does not promise an easy life; but in exchange for your work a life of fulfillment awaits. For your consideration:

1. Speak your truths clearly – When you are true to yourself you must say what's true for you and be prepared for new adventures. Be in touch with what’s really important to you. What truly makes you happy? Know the things that you do best and that makes you feel satisfied.

2. Be open to support – You are not alone; it is important to know that you can depend on others to help you achieve your intentions.

3. Be receptive to the world around you – Allow yourself to be aware of your senses so that you can find the stillness within. This allows you to be more patient and to be reminded of the rhythms of life. When you experience this you become more positive and centered.

4. Find time for pleasure – Little moments like having the freedom to do the things that bring you pleasure in life are vital. Finding your passion includes all aspects of your life. For many people, allowing pleasure induces guilt because they believe it is not productive and hinders you from getting important things accomplished. A negative view of pleasure is actually just a matter of opinion! You have to give yourself time to enjoy life. You will find that taking breaks for yourself actually helps you accomplish more.

5. Set yourself free – A person who finds her passion is a truly wise person. A key to happiness lies in doing things you enjoy. When we accept ourselves we will find it easier to accept others, and we’ll find that others accept us as well.

6. Use positive statements – Studies have shown that a positive mental attitude is a trademark of successful people. A lot of people don’t get to their destinations out of a fear of failure. Expect issues to arise, but remind yourself to pull yourself together; let go of the past and get on track again. You will always find negative people in the world. That’s part of life. But it’s easier to practice blocking the negative energies that they bring into your life. You will be rewarded in the end.

There is no experience more fulfilling than finding your passion. Getting in touch with it will allow you to really blossom Allow yourself to be all you are meant to be, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Your strength allows you to handle things from a new found center. You feel more alive, positive, self-respecting, and determined. You live your life with confidence and high morale. The people around you benefit as well.
