"five Cents Coin And 3 Million Yuan Vase" Management Fable

“The empty cup mentality” is a book what I more and more want to write in the recent years. The idea of writing this book comes from an unforgettable experience when I have a class lecture in Tsinghua University President.
That day, I was telling the "Zen management and the entrepreneur spirit", when I talked about "uniting, lay down and comfortable, forgo "this one quarter, a female President told a story happened on herself.

One day, she is cooking dinner in the kitchen; suddenly she heard very panic voice of her four-year-old son from the sitting room:
"Mother! Mother comes!"
Once she listened, not knowing what had happened, hurry to run to the sitting room. There she discovered the hands of her son stuck in a vase and can not come out, so he kept calling for help. She wanted to help son pull out hand from the vase, but she tried and tried and can be successful. Watching his face hung tears, she anxious badly, then she found a hammer, carefully broke the vase.
With great effort, the hands of her son finally came. When she saw the son of small hand held tightly into a fist, also don't loosen. She was frightened; whether the child's hands changed shape when stay in the vase card for too long time?

When she pried her son’s fist carefully, then she just completely relieved: the child's hand is ok, and what his hands heart tightly clutched is a medal for five cents coin.
It made her in distress situation, because the vase she just knocked into the ground values 3 million Yuan’s antique.
Originally, naughty son not carefully to throw a few coins into the vase, and he wanted to put the coin, because the tighten fist is greater than the bottle, and then he do not know how to get out. She asks her s on unconsciously:
"Why don't you open your hand, put down the coin? That's your hand can come out, mother also need not smash the vase! "
His son's answer is:

But after having smiling, everyone agrees: although the story happened on 4-year-old children, but actually this phenomenon is widespread in adults. Many people especially some who in job field hold the things too tightly as if it is precisely, and finally led to the large lost because of the small things, who even cause tragedy occurring.
