Five Ways To Make A Big Impression With Your Salon

You may be skilled at giving people the hair makeovers that make a powerful and positive impact, but can the same be said of your salon? If it's looking a little rough round the edges or is falling behind the times, maybe this list of tips will help you spruce the place up and make a big impression on new and existing customers.

i) Are you offing a wide selection of services? Expanding your range of services, perhaps to skincare and nail treatments or massages, could see you grow from a small salon into a thriving business. If you're doing this, you may need treatment tables, chairs and storage facilities to make sure you're well-equipped for the arrival of customers.

ii) The industry thrives on word-of-mouth, but maybe that's not enough anymore. Maybe you need to make a bold first impression on everyone who comes into contact with your brand. If so, new furniture, equipment or even decor and your clothing could drastically improve the way people view your company.

iii) If you're in a competitive location, you'll need a point of difference. A broader range of services, the most comfortable chairs or waiting area, better consultations, a modern and funky environment, etc... whatever it, you'll find your USP may give you a vital edge in securing more customers.

iv) However, your needs may be more simple than expansion. You could be happy with your existing customer base, but want to make sure you keep them. If your furniture is looking a little tired, such as sunken in seats and worn backs on chairs, then why not go for something bold like a Presidents Barbers Chair or the Evolution Styling Chair - two great products on the market - and impress your customers on their next visit.

v) If you're concerned that your equipment isn't up to scratch (maybe your mirror's damaged or your electrical products are no longer reliable) then it could be time to upgrade them. Good quality equipment not only makes your life 10 times easier, but it also sends out a message to your clients that their satisfaction is important to you.

So if you're in need of new beauty salon equipment or hairdressing furniture, maybe now is the time to make a list of all your requirements and start shopping.
