Flash Cs4 New Features

You have just purchased or going to purchase the new Flash CS4 and are probably wondering what the new features in the latest version are. Below I have a list of the new features in Flash CS4.

* 3D Transformations- There is new 3D transformation tools which include rotating and translating across X, Y, and Z axes. This allows you to animated 2D objects through 3D space.


* Decorative drawing tools – Two new tools called the Deco tool and the Spray brush tool which allows you to creates patterns of symbols.

* Inverse Kinematics with the Bone tool – Tool to animate object(s) to relationship to the structure of bones. This means you can create realistic character animation, facial expression and many more effects.

* Motion editor panel – This panel gives you move control over an animated object. The motion editor includes rotation, size, filter, and position.

* Animations – The animations through tweens and key frames have been completely improved. Now you have greater control over the objects so instead of animating an object using key frames, you have move control over the attribute such as the size and position.

* Motion presets - You can now apply motion presets to object that have either been created by yourself or imported. Motion preset are pre-configured animations that you can apply to you objects. This can save a lot of time especially if you frequently use the same motions.

* Improved project & library panel - Both of the project panel and the library panel have been improved.

* H.264 support – Media with H.264 is now supported which allows you to deliver the highest video quality.

* Soundbooth usability – You can now edit sound in Soundbooth directly from Flash.

* Hardware improvements – SWF file now have better playback performance.

* Interface design – The design of the interface is completely different to Flash CS3. There is now panel docking and streamline the design of the tools.

* Improved filters panel – You can now save and import custom filters.

* XFL import – You can now import content form After Effect and Indesign.
