Football Stars And Royalty Make Bumper Year For Events Company
Ex England and Newcastle United star Alan Shearer celebrated his 40th birthday in style during August with a relaxed and enjoyable day at his home in Northumberland. A glass effect marquee with a heated veranda allowed guests to appreciate views over the stunning grounds while enjoying a selection of cultural foods served all day. Entertainment was provided by top wedding and events band Hip Operation and the Chris Moyles bandaoke show. Bandaoke is similar to karaoke but with a live band. In September a surprise birthday party was arranged for a member of a Middle East Royal Family when Toast Your Event turned a twenty metre high space in Tyneside art gallery Baltic Art into a 1950’s style cabaret. A twenty metre square illuminated white star-cloth and crystal chandeliers suspended on invisible wires transformed the room while waitresses in white Usherette costumes moved between white and rose floor chandeliers serving cocktails from LED illuminated trays. A video dance floor played 1950’s movies including Some Like It Hot and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Guests, who were requested to wear only white, were served food from a seafood banquet throughout the evening and could choose to order drinks from circular mirror bars or a Jimmy Choo vodka luge. Entertainment was provided by X-Factor star Jamie Archer. Toast Your Event creative director Tina Dolder says: “We aim to make everybody’s event special and memorable, whatever their budget. Every now and then we are asked to arrange something truly spectacular and the opportunity to organise two such events within a month was a fabulous opportunity to showcase the skills of our staff. It has been a great summer. Working for a football legend and for Royalty really was the icing on the cake”. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com |
