Two people approach you with MLM offers. Both imply their MLM secrets will lead you to marketing success. To which one will you be more inclined to listen? One offers real, genuinely useful, MLM secrets with no initial sales pitch. He offers to answer your general questions about achieving network marketing success and provides a multitude of free MLM secrets and information. The other is clearly working overtime to sell you his offer – an MLM program about which you have no good, immediate information or any way to verify the claims he makes. Marketer ONE could be called ‘User Friendly’ (“Let me help you learn how to become a networking success.”); Marketer TWO, 'Self-serving' (“Join my downline so I can make some quick money”).

This difference is important at two levels for those seeking MLM secrets. In the beginning, as ones visions of marketing success reflect hope more than a solid plan to get there, User Friendly marketers become the essential contacts. Don’t waist time with the others that ask you to, ‘Just trust me. It will work out. You will see.’ Go with those who offer genuine MLM secrets and ask you, “What questions can I answer for you?” Better yet, find one who says, “Let me begin by putting into your hands some really useful MLM secrets that will answer many of your most important questions about networking success.”

Somewhere, early on in the relationship, the interested person should also be provided with information about a tried and true marketing approach – not the old fashioned, doomed to failure, “Send out these goldenrod, postcards to lists of ‘hot prospects’ (who never seem to be hot at all) and pray.”

The bottom line goes like this when you are seeking MLM secrets. First, hitch yourself to a known star, somebody who fits the User Friendly model described above. He knows that his networking success will be based on your networking success and that you are only going to experience success to the degree that you become fully educated in the ways of today’s proven network marketing techniques. He will, therefore, devote lots of time and effort providing MLM secrets and assisting you to create a truly effective marketing strategy before he turns you loose to try and convert contacts into members (or sales, or what have you). Networking success is directly tied to the quality of training you seek out and then take the time to master. Seek out the best!

Examine a wide variety of offers and most certainly find out about the people who are making the offers. When you receive a postcard from somebody who knows no more about successful MLM marketing techniques than to send out post cards, beware!
