Free Squeeze Page Lesson

Anybody can put up an auto-responder on their blog page or post, but you will want more for a professional squeeze page and you do not need an expensive theme for that feature.

Most Wordpress themes only have pages and posts. But most themes bring in your header, footer, sidebar and all the other things that are just too cluttery looking and distracting for a squeeze page. Now you can make your own without buying an expensive theme!

Simply create your squeeze page with an html editor like KompoZer and then upload it to your server using a FTP program. Try making your own squeeze page.

1. Use a gratis open source software such as KompoZer as a html editor to create your squeeze page. KompoZer can be a little pernickety, but is mostly straight forward. However, I do not advise using its auto FTP for uploading. Use the html editor's source code for everthing you create.
2. Now you copy the html editor's source code and pop it into notepad and save it as a new html file on your desktop.
3. You FTP upload the new html file to your domain server using FileZilla.
4. Then you have a new squeeze page inside Wordpress. And this new page inside Wordpress is concealed inside your blog.

Understand that you cannot add content to this page from Wordpress but you can re-do anything inside KompoZer. Only know that you will have to add or edit your page in the interior of your html editor. Simply create a new source code and upload the improved html file again.

It is reasonably simple to create a squeeze page inside Wordpress once you realize the steps and are prepared to suffer through some trial and error. You can create a sales page too and any other special pages this way.
