Freewill Astrology In The Perspectives Of Karma And Destiny

Freewill Astrology is a relatively newer form of astrology that differs from the conventional astrology. While the ancient astrology focuses entirely on the effects of planetary position, constellations, numbers, lines of the hand and others in our life, freewill astrology tries to extrapolate the readings based on our wishes, action and planetary positions. In some contexts, it can be understood as a hybrid of ancient astrology and karmic astrology.

Let us try to judge the relevancy of freewill astrology in the perspective of Karma (Actions) and destiny. We all know that we are nothing but the manifestation of our thoughts and the subsequent actions. So, the root of anything that happens to us in future is nothing but the thought. At the onset, we get a thought to do something and we analyze these thoughts. After proper and elaborate analysis, we either accept or reject the thought. There is no point if we reject any thought but if we accept it then we act suitably.

And its in the thought-germinated action that the genesis of freewill astrology lies. It tries to foresee the life of a person in two perspectives i.e. karma and the destiny. According to its principles, a combination of action and favorable destination spells success and in case if either or both of these two do not support, then we fail. And it tries to answer the two contradictory questions through this approach.

a) If everything is pre-decided then why do we act as mere executioners? Then we are nothing but programs executed by other system, the divine system. Freewill astrology contradicts this by believing that we are not mere executioners but we have life in our control and we control our life through the actions ably supported by destiny.
b) If we can succeed by action then why don’t we succeed in all actions? Well, again the freewill astrology answers that success also need able support of destiny.
