Gorgoroth - Black Metal Band From Norway

GORGOROTH is a Norwegian black metal band. It was formed in 1992 and has repeatedly changed its lineup. At the end of 2007 there was a conflict among the members of the band. Founder of this band Infernus left and formed his own GORGOROTH, while two other members Gaahl and King keep going with the old GORGOROTH.

On the web-site of Infernus GORGOROTH can be found that made an alliance with Satan in 1992, and then he formed this band. This is the hugest possible sin.

Band has released many albums and here are some:

- Pentagram, with following songs: Crushing the Scepter (Regaining a Lost Dominion)

- The Last Tormentor with the song Revelation of Doom

- Antichrist, with the song Possessed (By Satan)

- Under The Sign Of Hell, with the songs: The Rite of Infernal Invocation, The Devil Is Calling

- Twilight of the Idols (In Conspiracy with Satan), with following songs: Procreating Satan, Forces of Satan Storms

- Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam – For the greater glory of Satan

In the year 2004 they held a concert in Krakow, Poland. They placed some sticks on the scene, and they put cut heads of sheep on those sticks and spilled sheep blood on the stage. Satanic symbols were everywhere and they crucified four naked women on the crosses. They were burning crosses and other Christian signs. It means that because of their promotion they deliberately went to the town where Pope John Paul II was living. On that concert they insulted Christians in Poland, although polish law forbids it. The police made the investegation with allegations of religious offense, but they claimed that they were unaware of the fact that they were donig anything illegal. So they got away with it. But after that they called this concert Black mass in Krakow 2004 and made a DVD in 5000 copies. Infernus was bragging on their web-site that this event raised the sale of their albums, and that is exactly the reason why they came to Poland.
