It is always a great idea to update and make changes to your website. Especially if those updates help convert wandering traffic into leads or clients. Add your name: There was a time in the beginning of the Internet that it was taboo to add your name to your website. In fact, it was one of the top 10 no-no's in web design. However things have changed in the past few years. With so many cases of identity theft and an overall lack of trust, your web visitors want to know that they are dealing with a trust-worthy person. Adding your name is the first step in adding that credibility. 2. Advertise on trust-worthy newsletters and websites: Michael Jordan was the greatest thing to happen to Nike. Once the best player in basketball said that he wears Nike's to help his basketball performance hundreds of thousands of people went out and bought Nike's. You need to find the Michael Jordan's of your professional field and have them advertise you and your website. That will bring instant credibility to your website. 3. Add a photo of yourself: Adding of photo of yourself was another one of those taboo's years ago. But, once again, credibility is everything. If you have a photo of yourself on your website and in other forms of advertising sites like article directories, forums, banners, etc..., people will begin to take notice of who you are.
