The new Garmin Nuvi 250W Sat Nav is a very impressive device. The Nuvi 250W comes with a wide screen which enables you to see the route you are taking very clearly but at the same time manages to retain its slim and compact body that is small enough to fit into your coat pocket.
The user interface is very easy to understand and the quick user manual means it takes no time at all to get started. Within a few minutes from opening the box we were able to get a new set of directions without having to fiddle around with complicated menus.
The software and maps are very easy to update on the device via a USB cable that is plugged into your computer. Also, the signal on the Nuvi 250W is very strong. While driving around the device never once had a problem establishing a connection, even when the device was inside the building. If the device were to lose connection while you were inside a building you would simply switch to 'indoor' mode which would stop the device from searching for a signal which would waste its battery.
The details of the maps that are on the Nuvi 250W are outstanding and never once failed to recognise even the smallest of streets. The directions given by the device are clear and accurate and never once led us down the wrong way. Taking all of this in to consideration, the Garmin Nuvi 250W is possibly once of the best devices to be released lately.
