And of course you cannot miss the West Hollywood Gay Pride Festival that takes place during the middle of June. San Vicente Blvd is shut down for nearly 3 days between Melrose and Santa Monica, and rainbow colours fly throughout the entire area for the duration of the festival. Thousands of attendees local and foreign celebrate each year and each year the festival only grows larger.
