So you are one of the 56 million people in the United States that has their very own website. Good for you. I bet you worked hard on that site too, didn't you. You did? Yeah, I can tell, it really shows. I love the photos of the family too, nice touch. But wait, I see you are on page 70 in the Google searches though, are you having any luck getting visitors?
What's that? You haven't had a new visitor since 4 years ago. Stop the presses. How can that be? Oh wait...never mind. It probably has something to do with the fact that you are on page 70 in the searches...right. Ok. Well, listen up. Boy have I got something to get your site all ship shape and out there for all to see.
You probably already know this. You desperately need visitors. Visitors are the lifeblood of all websites, even your family photo album site. I mean if nobody knows you exist, how in the world can they visit you, and then buy, or just read what you are telling them about? The answer is, they can't. Everyone quiet down now. I have something important to say ... (whispers)... Squidoo. If you didn't get it the first time, here it is again...S-Q-U-I-D-O-O! What is Squidoo? It is a website that allows you to put up articles (or what they call lenses) free of charge for all to read. You can then learn an amazing trick to getting that lens to be on the first page of Google. It's really not that hard.
Once it's on the first page of Google for your particular keyword, anyone who types in the exact keyword you used for your Squidoo lens...will see your lens (or article). They will visit that article, read it, and hopefully click any outbound links there going back to your main site.
So you can use Squidoo to get traffic to your real site...your money making site, or just the site you want to share with the world for any other reason. You see, Google and Squidoo kinda have a "thing" for each other. They asked me not to tell, and to keep it a secret, but come on, they aren't being very discreet are they? I think it's safe to say the entire WORLD knows that Google likes Squidoo.
So if you're sick and tired of never getting any new visitors to your site, you need to do yourself (and your site) a serious favor and look into how Squidoo can help you in your ranking goals.
