Get On The Road To Fitness With Home Workouts
There are many exercises that one can perform inside their home. Three basic exercises that can be integrated into your home workout are push-ups, crunches, and shadow boxing. Start with these exercises every day in order to improve your discipline and allow you to stay motivated. Slow and smooth is the maxim to follow when starting a workout. Proper crunches utilize the stomach and lower back muscles to pull yourself up to a 45 degree angle in relation to your bent knees. Keep your fingers in contact with your temple, not behind your head as this may tempt you to use your arms to pull yourself up. Start with five crunches per day adding one every other day. Shadow boxing is an exciting exercise that can be performed while listening to loud music. Simply find some space, and while maintaining your balance, punch the air in front of you. Observing proper boxing stance and punching techniques improves the effectiveness of this exercise dramatically. Start with five minutes per day, gradually increasing the time by two minutes every other day. Shadow boxing works on your upper body, and if observing proper form, improves your balance. It is also a great cardiovascular workout. It is up to you to determine what order you prefer to perform these exercises.
