Get Well Paid For Professional Speaking

Paid professional speaking is a field that attracts many people but only a handful learn to master this poorly understood profession.

To earn a substantial amount of money in this field, you really need to create the right business model from the very beginning. If you plan to become a seven figure speaker, then I suggest that before you write your speech and start looking for bookings, you take the time to decide how you want to shape your career.

What menu of services will you offer? I don't recommend just doing keynotes because few speakers earn a full time income from keynoting. Look at consulting/keynote or training/keynote packages so that you're diversified.

Can you create programs out of your intellectual property? Or are you better suited to adding products to your menu of services?

Would you like to franchise your training? Or create a membership website?

It's often said that we only use 10% of our brain. Frankly, I wonder who made that up and how do they measure it? I do believe, though, that we only take advantage of 10% of the opportunities available to us, opportunities that are there right before our eyes. Yet we can't see them.

Open your eyes to all the ways you can both give and gain from this wonderful field.

If you're just entering this exciting profession, be sure to foster a vision that allows you to see all of the opportunities just waiting for you to explore them.
