Get Your Fluids During Your Muscle Building Sessions
Properly hydrating your body should be your primary concern if you want your body to respond to the various muscle building exercises.
While working out, your body temperature increases and to balance the body temperature with the external temperature your body secretes large amounts of fluids through your sweat glands and the other excretory glands.
It is your job to continuously replenish the body with fluids to prevent it from getting dehydrated.
To replace the water and the accompanying salts that are excreted during the workout, it is suggested by the medics that you should consume a well recommended sports drink before, after and during your workout session.
The amounts may vary depending upon the sweating tendency of your body, the external temperature and other associated factors like the weight and other physical and chemical aspects of your body.
You should not consume alcohol or any kind of aerated drink before or after the workout, as it may have a negative effect on the cooling process of your internal system. The sports drinks you consume should be carefully chosen, as some of them have excess sugar content.
If you have access to a nutritionist, it would be good to consult for his or her opinion on your sports drinks choices that are suitable for you.
In additional, you may want to know that when you do feel thirsty, your cells have already been dried for some time.
Therefore my suggestion to you is not to wait for the thirst sensation to hit you, hydrate yourself intermittently and you will feel that you can have a much sustained training session.
For fitness and muscle building, never ignore the importance of proper hydration.
