It has to go deeper than that. Recall your previous conversations, events, and fights that could have added up with your current situation. Get your act together and get your relationship back.

Learn to Listen

The problem is that most people listen with the intent of defending themselves or just waiting for their turn to talk. Do you know how many times most people would have been less upset if the other person would have simply said, "I'm sorry" instead of saying, "You misunderstood my actions." It does not matter what your intent was. You hurt the person you love in the process and the most you can do is to acknowledge this and apologize.

Be More Sensitive

Usually people think that they have not been doing enough things for the other person, which is why the relationship went sour. But to get your relationship back, you might need to hold back and do less. Remember how many talks you've had about the relationship. Try to avoid things that bother your partner. Be cautious of insensitive comments or jokes. Some people may use jokes as their way of saying things so as not to hurt you.

Do Your Own Thing

If you can truly say that you have done everything you could to improve your situation then now is the time to focus on yourself. Before you started dating, were you on a man hunt to have a boyfriend? Of course not. You were doing stuff for yourself and being busy. And that's what you should do right now. Sometimes, just the thought that you would do whatever you can for your partner is the very reason that causes them to ignore you. They feel that no matter what they do, you'll still be there. So before that happens, get a job, a hobby or just get busy. Have a different circle of friends from him. That way you have more to share when you are together.

You Can't Give What You Don't Have

If you want to be able to love another person in a way that does not suffocate them, you have to know how to love yourself first. If you show yourself respect for your own schedule and privacy then you know that your partner deserves to have that too. If you love pampering yourself, then you know how that other person would appreciate being pampered too. If you are not confident with yourself, how can you give your trust to another person?

You can get your relationship back when you pay attention to details that you may have overlooked. You may have been focusing too much on your relationship and have started to let go of the awesome person that he fell in love with in the first place.
