Get Cheaper Flights Without Getting A Bad Seat

One of the hard realities of air travel is that 85% of people pay too much. This may worry you but to be honest there are ways around paying full price. Something most people do not know is you don’t have to pay full price for a decent seat, you could get a great seat just by being patient.

One way that you can save money on your flight and get a nicer seat is by booking the best seat you can get at least a month in advance. From here you’ll check the online seating chart every couple of days to see if you can find a nicer seat than the one you are now sitting in. Something you need to know is that the closer you are to first class the higher the possibility you will be able to get a first class ticket for a big discount. The reason why you must get closer to first class is for a couple reasons, the space directly behind first class (bulkhead) has the biggest legroom and is where most individuals prefer to be. Another reason why you should get closer to the front of the airplane is because flight attendants can move individuals around once on the plane in order to fit handicap people and parents with children and being that this is the biggest seating area of the plane you’ll probably be asked if you will graciously move up to first class in order to assist the others. The fantastic thing now is that you have a wonderful seat for a very low price.

The next thing you will want to do is call the airline every couple days within two weeks from the flight date so that you could see if there are any nicer seats you can change to or if there’s an affordable first class seat. One thing you must understand is getting to the gate with no changes does not mean you will not get a better seat, you still have time to get a better seat. All you have to do now is ask the people at the counter what seats they have open to switch to and what it would cost you to change. Something you must remember here is that you need to always show a frequent flyer number in order to receive the best deals. The nice thing about frequent flyer numbers is they do not cost money and you do not need to fly that much in order to get one.
