Get Rid Of Kidney Stones With Orange Juice And Other Citrus In 3 To 4 Days!
That is an almost true statement and I can personally vouch for it. But, in my case, I had kidney stones for the first time and got rid of them with an orange juice and other citrus recipe as soon as I learnt about the severe pains associated with it. Just after the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001, I started to have sharp periodic pains around my middle back -on the left side. The pains, when they did occur, were excruciating-and I could hardly breathe when they occurred. Some women friends told me that those pains I described were close to women's during childbirth. I got really concerned and decided that I had to see my urinary specialist to diagnose my condition. After several tests, he confirmed that I had kidney stones. How could that be, I asked? He said people have different body chemistry and several things in their diet could cause the formation of the stones. My personal concerns got even more alarming. I was thinking about how these pains would increase and have me flinching and twisting when they did occur-perhaps while driving, at work, when sleeping at night and some weird places that would be very embarrassing to me. Someone had told me about oranges and grapefruits as an alternative. My doctor performed a complete physical examination on me with the x-rays and "blood work" -as he called it. After all the tests, he found kidney stones as large as 2 to 3 millimeters in diameter. He then explained the entire medical procedure to remove the stones. He would have to have anesthetic administered and that would entail an out patient visit at the hospital. The procedure would last about an hour and recovery from the surgery and anesthesia would be another four to five hours. My doctor would have to use a probe called a "stent" which he would push up my urethra, apply a sonic vibration the break up the stone and remove them. Then, if any minute pieces were left they would pass our through by normal urination. After considering the logistics and the torture I had to go through, I anxiously did a Google search on the internet for herbal remedies to remove kidney stones. I thought of oranges and grapefruits as a possibility. After about an hour of search, I stumbled upon a recipe by a doctor-- who have since removed that recipe from his website. The recipe involved the following: • Organic oranges juice-unfiltered • Organic lime juice-unfiltered • Organic lemon juice -unfiltered And, there were two other herbs. One of them for emollient purposes that would allow the stones to slide through --from the kidney through the urethra-smoothly, with minimum scratching and chafing of the delicate passageway. The other was for reducing the pain after the stones have been removed. So, to continue with the story, I made 2 gallons of the mixture according to the recipe. I took one gallon of this concoction to work and place it next to my desk and left the other one at home. The instructions were to drink 10 ounces every 30 minutes for three days. And, like night follows day, I adhered to that schedule like white on rice. By the end of the second day that pain was gone but I continued drinking the mix until the end of the third day. The pains seemed to disappear completely. Meanwhile, my office co-workers were very curious about what I was doing and I explained the whole thing to them. They were eager to find out the outcome. My follow up visit at my urinary specialist was two days away and when I went to see him he took another set of x-rays. Upon examination he had a very big surprise. He said the x-ray showed no kidney stones. He asked me what I did and I told him about the recipe I tried. He laughed and shook his head. He canceled the surgery. From that day onwards, I never had any kidney problems anymore. I now eat all kinds of citrus--oranges and grapefruits, tangerines, tangelos, honey bells, cook with lemons and limes regularly -as they come right from my hometown -Indian River County, Florida. Some people assume that all citrus juices prevent the formation of kidney stones. But, the fact is that citrus juices, like from oranges and grapefruits --may not give the same protection to some because they may have a higher risk with the existing condition which may be more severe. When chemicals and other minerals in the urine become too concentrated they bind and form kidney stones over time. Those who are at risk for kidney stone should make diet changes in their lifestyle. This may prevent or slow the rate forming of stones. Potassium citrate supplements are the chemicals that prevent kidney stones formation. However, some people cannot take them due to the gastrointestinal side effects that occur. However, the drinking of citrus juices which has a natural form of the citrate may be helpful as an alternative to the supplements. The citrate reduces the acidity of the urine and prevents or slows the formation of the kidney stones.
