Get Rid Of Your Speaking Anxiety

If you are reading this article then it is very probable you familiar with the fear of public speaking: "Today is the great day!, you were not slumbering well last night and your appetite was quite poor in the last few days (some people will report a kind of bulimic eating). You just few minutes ago started your day and already feel moist hands. You smell your own anxiety odor - a fear of public speaking.

In days like this, you have the feeling that your whole body betray on you. Even your legs are affected. You suddenly become consciousness aware of your stiff walking like you are going to stumble the next step to come... But you are not. Some how you manage to control you gestures, and give a fake smile to the people around like saying "Great day! How are you today?" Actually, you are far from that!

You seat in the auditorium (or classroom, or office's meeting room) and wait for your turn. You even try to listen to other' presentation, and you actually ear other's words, and can nod with your head if you agree with them, but nothing of their ideas truly get into your head. You are now locked in the black hole gravity of your speaking anxiety.

The moment has come. Your stomach ache, and cold sweat wrap your upper body. Luckily, our body has an additional resources raised upon stressing situations, and this is the only thing that currently hold you on your legs when standing in front of your audience. Your throat is getting dry as a bone, and it looks to you like you forgot anything you planed to say. Your listeners are not really notice that (unless for extreme situations) but inside, you feel like an idiot that can't control her intellect and confidence. You are now deep in the realm of self blaming.

Actually, you success quite well and do say what you planned to present, but you are not in the position of playing with ideas and capture the deep interest of your audience. You lost your sense of time and your autopilot mind brought you to the end of your presentation. You can relax a little bit and answer some questions. After all, free dialogue is what you like, not those public speaking events.

The truth is that many individuals suffer the same phenomenon as you do and has the problem of speaking anxiety. The funny thing is that while we actually not alone in this, when it happen we are getting detached and alone.
