When joining a gym or going to purchase an Elliptical machine, you want one that will benefit you. Sadly, cheap elliptical machines will not optimize your workout much. They typically have low weight limits, and cannot last for longer than a few months to a year. A more expensive elliptical with several customizing features is best for your elliptical machine choice.
