Getting Ready For A Vacation In The Philippines
First and foremost it was a priority to get cheap airplane tickets. Websites are an excellent tool for finding reasonable prices. A group of our friends have traveled recently so we sought their opinion. We also asked them where they bought their plane ticket and if they felt the cost they paid was reasonable. Another thing I did was we looked at the daily advertisement to determine if someone was discounting airfares. Similarly, around our town and checked some agents that sell tickets. Once we found the tickets we continued on to the next thing on our checklist. The next step involved us mentioning to our supervisor we planned to be away for a month. The supervisor had no problem with us going on vacation. In anticipation of the trip we checked our appointment book for any engagements. We made sure that on those days that we planned to travel no critical assignments were booked. I was faced with several fees that would be overdue so I arranged to send them a check. An older sister has duplicates of my keys so she has agreed to take care of my condo while I am on the trip. I do not own pets but if I did I would find somebody to take them while I visit the Philippines. I believed we had all bases covered but a colleague reminded me that we needed to check the weather reports to find out what the expected weather might be in the nation during our stay there. The country from time to time experiences substantial rainfall which can lead to rivers of water. As a result, we researched the areas we will go to visit to determine their anticipated weather. If weather estimates are right then we will go. Before the trip my business associate has decided to learn the language. Filipino (Tagalog) is the national language. For the following month we both have decided to sharpen our Tagalog speaking skills by testing one another. Daily during breaks at the job we plan to memorize and commit to memory at least 6 new words during that time. These are a selection of miscellaneous Filipino vocabulary to become familiar with. Sorry - patawad telephone - telepono late - antala / huli at what time - anong oras graduate - nakapagtapos butter - mantikilya usually - karaniwan brother - kapatid We plan to relax while in the PhPhilippineshilippine islands. An acquaintance of ours has a home in the Philippines. We plan to connect with him for a day or two and maybe he can be our guide when he has time. The flight is not very far away and we are anticipating this trip. A little more than eight weeks left then we get on the airplane but I have begun to put aside several of the accessories I plan to take. I most definitely plan to bring along my Tagalog book. Maybe I will hire a language teacher to instruct me. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com |
