“ghost Whisperer” - About The Show
The main character in the show is Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) who is supernatural woman who can communicate with ghosts. Her aim is to help them return to their world or come to the real world. Melinda often fights with people who don’t believe in her supernatural abilities. Melinda Gordon is married to Jim and they live together in a small town of Grandview. While she works in her antique shop, it often happens to her to talk with ghosts and tries to understand different messages in order to help them cross her world or stay there. It is said that those who die after accumulating more sins than normal are led to perpetual unrest. These spirits are allowed to seek redress through their medium, actually Melinda, who will try to help them by creating more spiritual balance, especially with those who are still alive. When this balance is already created, then these spirits can go on to achieve their final resting state. There are five seasons of “Ghost Whisperer”. An occult leader from Europe appears in the first season. He tries to make his worshippers to commit mass suicide in 1930. They commit suicide together but he was transformed into a strong human. Then he uses his power to gather earth-bound souls and to interfere in their crossing over into the Light. At the end of the first season Melinda suffers a great loss. The second season of “Ghost Whisperers” shows how Melinda comes across several people like her son named Ned and prof. Rick Payne. They both are the people who understand her supernatural abilities. Exactly this second season shows a lot about the line between life and death. Melinda meets another individual in Grandview who was in the center of a great prophecy – spreading the dark side over the light. In the next season, Melinda tries to find more about her supernatural abilities and to understand something about her own childhood and family. The fourth season is about how Melinda meets the personality of Eli James who is killed in a fire accident at Rockland University and while experiencing a near-death case managed to hear the ghosts. In the fifth season Jim and Melinda, have a baby born. It is named Aiden Lukas. Melinda is worried about her son’s safety. She realizes that he is much more powerful than her.
