Goal Setting Doesn't Work Unless You Do It Like This.
Living in fear is the biggest issue that people have with their lives today, they turn to authority figures in their lives that help them to guide them into the default life blue print, unfortunately if you are a passive person who isn't proactive then you will probably just do the same thing that everyone else is doing and hope for the best, this is the reason why most people stay poor despite having a regular income and why the rich only get richer, in order to achieve any goal that you set you have to learn to be very ignorant of others around you who will try to drag you down. Another mistake I see with people is setting a goal that is based on external circumstances, for example if your goal is to loose weight then you may say “I'm going to loose 10 pounds by next month”, the reason why this will never work is because you can't control the amount of weight that you loose, there are just to many factors and variables to make this happen, a better way to do this is to focus on internal goals, these can be things like “Starting next week I am going to eat 1500 calories a day and go jogging every morning”, these are things that we can control and are also things that is easier to stick to, if you don't loose 10 pounds by next month you will probably get discouraged because you are not seeing results and quit.
