Going Camping With Kids
A good advice when you are camping with kids is to dress them in several layers, which can be peeled off as they get warm or added on as they cool off. Remember to bring games, puzzles, and books to keep the kids busy for indoor activities, or in case the weather is bad. Do not forget to bring camping and hiking gear includes a battery powered radio, flashlight, and extra batteries. Also bring camping accessories like sunscreen and bug spray. Involve the kids in the planning, preparing and packing. Teach them how to pitch a tent, and arrange their own sleeping bag.
