Golf Courses In Granada

Granada region is located at the center of Andalucía in Spain. There are two famous golf courses around the region. The Granada Golf club is located to the southern most part of the city of Granada. The Los Moriscos Golf with its 9-hole course is located on the coastal parts near the beach.

Granada Golf course: - This 18-hole course with par 71 was designed in the year 1986. The golf course was designed by Ibergolf along with Ramon Espinosa and Emilo Mena. Even though the golf course is positioned in the undulated area at Las Gabias, it is eight kilometers to the east of Granada.

The Granada golf course is primarily located on the smooth land having three lakes on the backlines. The 10th hole has raised bunkers and the 15th hole has a narrow fairway with water bodies on the right side with tiered green. The 17th hole has par 5 with doglegs to the left side and is bordered by three lakes. The course has some of the spectacular and stunning views of Sierra Nevada. Antonio Cabella Sanchez is the President of golf course and Miguel Moreno Moreau is the managing director of this well maintained golf course.

There are reservations of tee time and discounts on the golf which are available in the golf course. There is special coaching available for novice players and who love to get the basic tips on how to play the game of golf. There are several facilities of the buggy rentals, trolley rentals and the rentals for the club house, practice course, chipping greens, tennis courts and paddle tennis, swimming pool, showers, locker rooms, with meeting and conference rooms. There is also a restaurant which serves delectable cuisines.

Los Moriscos Golf Course: - The Los Moriscos golf Course is a 9-hole course which was founded in the year 1974 and was designed by Manuel Pinero and Ibergolf. The main attraction of the golf course is the natural flora along two beautiful lakes, with the lining of palm trees and different types of exotic plantation with seasonal fruits like mangoes and papaya. The other thrilling and exclusive panoramic view of the beach is the center of attraction in this golf course.

The terrace of the clubhouse of Los Moriscos golf course has been built on the rocks which provide the marvelous scenario of sea and the scintillating sounds of giant waves which break on the rocks along the beaches. The Los Moricos golf course has flat courses with lots of greenery. The golf course is a part of the leisure activities and the sports complex which is very near to the beach in between Salobrena and Motril which is about 3.5 kilometers to the north of Granada region.

The Los Moriscos golf club has the several exciting green fee packages for the members and the groups. Antonio Martin Carmona is the president and Rita Feriche Linares is the managing director of this golf course. The facilities include restaurant, bars, clubhouses, changing rooms, pro shop, club hire, trolley hire and cart hire, professional golfing coaches, driving range, putting greens and the pitching greens.
