"golf" Shooting In The 70's, Golf Tips Ii - "putting"
As always right before every golf round you should stretch and do some exercise to limber up. Then you should find ways to clear your mind and relax. The fastest way to lower your score is by putting better, no more three putts. On the practice putting green find an area where the lawn and the fringe meet. Making sure the fringe is straight go ahead and drop some golf balls on the putting green. Keeping the tip of the clubhead moving parallel with the fringe (use the fringe as a guide) hit the golf balls to see if you're accurate. Your head must remain still and your shoulders and the putter should move as one. The putter face has to remain to the golf ball during the back swing so the golf ball will go where you want it to. Stay focused and develop a mental golf game at the practice putting green before you play your golf round. As I had suggested in the previous golf shooting in the 70's articles get three or four dimes, and put them out right there on the putting green. Next hit some golf balls to the dimes getting as close as you can. This will help you to start correctly lagging your long putts and draining the short ones. Golf pros read the whole layout of the greens and golf amateurs read the putts, so practice up and let it roll!
