Google Penalizes These Mistakes! Avoid Them!

I have received questions on my previous few posts. Maybe it would be better if the myths and do-nots of traffic generation can be clarified. Firstly, every Adsense publisher aims to create traffic to their website, some faster than the others, some more successful while others are not so. However, results are usually reaped when you think long-termed and choose proven, white-hat methods to create traffic. Publishers who choose to create inorganic traffic usually do not succeed, and the sad truth is that Google penalizes these publishers.

Listed below are some mistakes that new Adsense publishers usually commit. More often than not, these mistakes have severe repercussions on their listings in Google search engine. Bear these in mind while creating traffic.

-Buying Traffic

Do not fall into advertising gimmicks claiming to drive hoards of traffic into your site. In common sense, these traffic are usually driven by other factors and the traffic generated is usually of poor quality. In the previous article, it is mentioned the best way to create a higher CTR (Click-Through-Rate) is by driving natural and targeted traffic to your Adsense website. So what constitutes to buying traffic? It can range from paying another publisher to put a link from their site to your site. Problem is that these links may be placed on another website with no link to the niche of your website, and the low quality traffic driven to your site will usually result in low CTR. Furthermore as advised by Google, links that create brides between two sites are more preferred, hence it may be better to save the money purchasing paid links.
