It is not very difficult to find out some ways for kids to make money. It is not only easy but fun too. Trying with different ways of making some cash by the children will help of you to understand their hidden talents and their interests.

You will get an idea of what your children are capable of doing. Garage sale is a simple method to make some extra cash for the children. Nobody will refuse to buy things from a child. Your part in the sale would be to help your children in fixing the prices. The rest should be left for the children to do.

Another advantage of the garage sale is that you can dispose of those old toys which are no more needed at your home. When the children find that they get some money by selling the toys, they will be ready to part with them.

Another method you can try is to run a small bakery. By helping the children in cooking, you can be with your children for some time and teach them cooking lessons. If you get some leftovers to eat, that is your bonus.

Children naturally commit mistakes but let them learn by making mistakes and then correcting them. Check how much is sold on any day so that adjustments can be made on the next day. If your children don't show any interest in any of these projects, better ask them what they would like to do.

Their ideas may not be fully practical but you can ask them how their ideas would help in starting a profitable business. This is one way to teach the children to be realistic and develop valuable skills which will benefit them in the future. What matters is not the money but the experience the children gain from such small enterprises. The net profit will be the opportunity for the children to become useful and responsible citizens.
