The thing to do here is to open your own social networking account and look for job opportunities in the London area. The next step would be to add them on your friends list and start contacting them or at least monitor their posts closely. You can even leave your resume on these sights, and before long you will get noticed.

If the above mentioned methods are not exactly your cup of tea, then contacting a company directly may do the trick. Not all companies hire through unemployment offices.
