By Going Green?|Will Our Planet Be Saved By An Earth Friendly Lifestyle?

Is it true that our planet is slated to die? Who do we put our trust in when we are told that the very things that are critical for life are becoming spent? For the world to survive, do we all need to adopt an envirronmentally friendly way of living? With the absence of total wellness and the rising cost of healthcare, is it time to return to natural modes to save lives? The succeeding generation should learn about how to live greener to help the environment.

Past generations cultivated their own food and delighted in maintaining their gardens. The children of today do not know the fun of growing veggies in the back yard, or having a flower garden, or even planting a tree. Green plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen but how many youngsters understand this? Nourishment, clean air and drinking fresh water all can lead to a healthy body. The health of our earth may depend on a return to an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

We live in a world of conveniences and instant change but is there a cost to be paid for this. Our average lifespan may be rising but what about the quality of our lives? There are diseases that we no longer have to worry about but there are other perils to our health we need to be aware of. Going green will better the health of the environment and make life worth living. The profits of going green should be taught to our children.

Wind power and solar power can replace our overwhelming dependence on coal and oil, and go a long way towards cleaning up the polluted atmosphere. We are likely to react to a problem after it has gotten too big to solve. Do we really want to wreck the earth? Why else would we sit back and see thhe planet poisoned in this way? At what point is the air excessively dirty, and the water too polluted, and the food sources overly adulterated that things cannot be turned around.

Material goods appear to mean more to people than some of the conventional values we used to have. The wellbeing of an individual should be supreme rather than any monetary gain through someone being in poor health. We can all help by understanding what the world needs to improve the lives of the people.

If we understand that it is not simply about money, we can begin to make modifications such as using wind and solar power instead of oil. More natural lifestyles, reduced waste and living healthily, these are all things we can teach our youth. If we really care about the type of world our children will inherit, we need to act at once and make the changes that are needed. We all are answerable, so the shift to a greener way of life should begin today.
