Grocery Delivery To My Mother

I love visiting my mother. I do. I look forward to seeing her and spending time at her house. However, sometimes I just don’t have the free time to make it over. I don’t want her to think I’m slowly forgetting her like she often does. So I send her something the weekends I can’t come over. It’s really cute actually and she’s happy with the compromise.

My mother never really gets out of the house anyway so this is a really helpful service for her. I send her groceries through a grocery delivery company. Someone just shows up with the groceries I selected for her online, she signs the paper when they drop them off, and we all go home happy. It’s great because there are special request options that I can fill out and everything. I’m sure she doesn’t mind the company either…even if it’s just a delivery boy. Think about it…delivery boys love regulars. She is getting the same familiar face every time I send her over groceries. It is almost as if she has another little friendship. She really lives for those little treasures in life. Everything she does is routine. She doesn’t really leave room for change. I guarantee she will think about her delivery boy when she’s doing her traditional Christmas goody bags.

I love knowing that even when I am not physically there to be there with my mom I can send her something as special as groceries. You just can’t go wrong by sending bags of fresh food.
