Guidelines To Improving Your Memory Information
There are a few old tricks people can use to remember things they did not want to forget. One common trick is tying a piece of string around a finger. While it is a little funny the reason for it makes sense. Because something is slightly different from the normal environment, a visual reminder is created. The most important part about the string is to remember what it is there for. It does not even need to be a string. Other things work the same way just as well. It can be something simple only you would notice. You could switch a ring to a different finger or move your watch onto your other wrist. Maybe you need to pick up a dry cleaning. Just put something on the dashboard of your car so that it is obstructing your view. The next time you get in you will think what is this doing here and then remember about the dry cleaning. Another possible way to improve your memory is by using visualization association. This can help when trying to remember something like time. With this method you turn words into images can remember words easier. Let’s say you have an eye exam at three o’clock in the afternoon, and you are worried about forgetting the time. You could give associate the “Three Blind Mice” with your eye exam and imagine the mice going through the exam. Later when you try to remember what time you need to be there you can think of the mice and how there is three of them. These are only a few ways to improve your memory, but they do work. If you keep them up you will eventually do them every day out of habit. Things you once had a hard time remembering will no longer slip your mind.
