Gulliver's Travels Movie Was Hysterical
In spite of this,it got just a little preposterous at the conclusion. Overall, though,it was rather good. It features: Jack Black, Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, James Corden, Catherine Tate, and Chris O'Dowd. The film centered around character Lemuel Gulliver who is a minimal confident, mail room worker who has a major infatuation on a girl in the office named Darcy Silverman. In a failed attempt to ask her out on a date, he winds up obtaining a writing/traveling task. Gulliver eventually lands the project through plagiarism, and it lands him on a boat journey to the bizarre Bermuda Triangle. While on his trip,he abruptly gets swept up in an ocean vortex that takes him to the place of Lilliput, which is populated by just microscopic folks. The people tie him up and treat him like a beast to begin with, but after he saves the king's life, he gets handled like royalty and ends up being their defender. In some crazy turn of events, he ultimately lets them down as his factual identity gets made known. He is then banished off their territory. The film concludes with Gulliver coming back and proving that he's much more than just a failure. It displayed a lot of humorous scenes, including Gulliver pissing on the castle to put out a fire,Gulliver dancing all over the location, and more. It got sort of foolish for me at the conclusion with all the singing and dancing stuff, but all-in-all, I was entertained throughout the whole flick. Jack Black, definitely, did a great job . He's always amusing to observe. I gave the flick a very good B grade. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com See new latest news about movies at moviephene.wordpress.com |
