Gurus Selling “get Rich Recipes” May Be Missing Important Ingredients
As I mentioned, you can make money on the internet. If you have the time and knowledge you can create a program, system, or software that could make you a huge amount of money. But, this may require months of testing and back testing your project. In the mean time, you are spending tons of cash in order to get it right. Like the old saying goes, “You have to spend money to make money.” Most of us don’t have the means to achieve our success in this way. So, the majority of us use affiliate programs to earn our income on the internet. We look for and join opportunities that excite us and make us feel like if we sell this everybody in the world will want to buy it. But, not only will they want to buy it they will want to buy it from us exclusively. Now, this is done intentionally and this is where our ignorance gets us into trouble. They tell us to drive massive amounts of traffic to the site, but, they don’t show us how to do that. Those that do sign up for your program but don’t buy immediately are now on a mailing list. The problem with this is that the mailing list does not belong to you but to the vendor. This vendor is now in the position to profit from this opt in contact. This is where the real money will be made. This is part of the missing ingredients. The Gurus won’t tell you that in order to make money there has to be a system in place. They tell you to drive traffic to the site but the real business is in managing the traffic. Yes, they provided you with a website but you need more than that. You need contact management this way you can have continuous interaction with the prospect. By staying in contact, or in front of them, you may get a future sale from these leads if they didn’t buy today. You may get multiple sales if you offer them more products which serve their needs and wants. This is all part of the system that you should have in place. Your complete system should have a domain name with hosting, a squeeze page, a sales page, a thank you page, a download page with a free report or e-book, and a follow up series of emails through your auto responder. Now, all this can take a lot of time and money and as I mentioned earlier we may not have these types of resources. So, what you need is to work with a program that has all these components in place. Ok, now you find someone offering all this and you’re ready to go. Aah, not entirely since now you have to drive traffic to the site and you still don’t know how. Well, let’s find a program that provides the system and shows you how to create traffic at the cheapest cost possible, free or near free. “Yeah, but having a program like this will cost me a fortune,” you say.
