Hp 2509m 25" Lcd Monitor Review. Do Not Buy Until You Read This.

The Hewlett Packard 2509m is another nice big monitor and at 25 inches, provides excellent workspace combined with fantastic performance. The HP 2509m is very good looking, with a slender design that makes it very appealing to those with limited desk space.

This monitor has Full High Definition 1920 x 1080 Resolution, a 16:9 Widescreen aspect ratio and a very impressive 60,000:1 contrast ratio, which give it superb levels of black for the Full HD effect. It also boasts a mouth watering 3ms response time so images stay crisp and sharp. This makes fast action sequences when watching films and playing games always appear smooth, which is a must for hardened gamers and movie watchers alike.

This unit is easy to set up, and of course comes with the installation CD with the necessary drivers, etc. All other functions are accessible with the on-screen display, and all quite straight forward to understand.

On the back of the unit are the inputs. There is a VGA, DVI-D and HDMI input, all facing down so the slender design isn’t compromised. The base also tilts front and back and one of the nice features is the HP BrightView, which makes images sharper and helps reduce glare. There is also an ambient light sensor which responds to the lighting in the room and adjusts the brightness as required – nice.

This has to be one of the best monitors for gaming, watching movies and working away on a computer, and the HP 2509m is not too expensive either, giving it extra kudos.
