Harry Potter Quidditch Match

The first time in five years Lego has released new Harry Potter sets. Due out in October 2010 a number of stores let their stock out early which enabled eager fans to get their Muggle-hands on these great sets.

The initial new occur this 2010 wave is set 4737, entitled Quidditch Match. Lego released an identical emerge 2002 as part of their releases for "Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets" movie. Quidditch Practice (Set 4726) is comparable but came with only three minifigs and 128 pieces even though this latest set has five minifigures and 153 pieces.

Associated with pension transfer licensed sets the main appeal has been the minifigures. All five are new sculpts and hang up the typical for this latest Lego wave. Quidditch Match is sold with two Gryffindor players (Harry Potter and Oliver Wood), two Slytherin players (Draco Malfoy and Marcus Flint) and Madam Hooch.

Draco, Potter and Hooch all include double sided head pieces - Hooch being the standout. Either side has her spooky yellow eyes while on another side she wears Quidditch goggles. The printing about the torsos are extremely nice representations of Quidditch uniforms and all sorts of have capes and brooms. Flint and Wood come with beater bats and helmets (unusual as neither would be a beater) the industry nice touch.

The set also includes a Quidditch stand (blue for Hufflepuff) along with the three hoops of one side's goal. It might are already nice to have two goals sets but perhaps you will see a later release with Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw (we are able to only hope!). Other pieces include a chest to carry the snitch, bludgers and quaffles as well as a Quidditch cup. There are also a couple of catapults, presumably to launch the balls in the air.

It's really a cute set and will also be popular due to the figures. Although gone will be the Quidditch inside the newest movie out in November, expect this to sell well.
